Community Support Services

We have partnered with a local starke county cat trapper who runs under the LLC called One Woman, Many Paws. 

They will come out to your property, trap your outdoor cats the evening before the clinic appointment, take them to get spayed/neutered and vaccinated, and return them to be relesased back onto your property within 24-48 hours after surgery. 

Service fee is $60 per cat (includes EVERYTHING)

Golden Gardens now offers live trap rentals for community members who need help trapping stray, feral, or abandoned cats.

Rental Fee: $10 per week (non-refundable donation)

Refundable Deposit: $40 per trap (returned once the trap is brought back in good condition)

Rental Includes:

• 1 humane live trap
• Instructions for safe and stress-free trapping
• Optional guidance on where to take trapped cat

We offer online rehoming services through Petco Love Lost and ReHome by Adopt-A-Pet. Both are reputable sites with alot of people looking to adopt! We are also active in many Facebook Animal Rehoming Groups & Pages. We are happy to post on all for free for any animals needing rehomed.

*Animals MUST be spayed/neutered & up-to-date on all necessary vaccines*

Golden Gardens is NOT a pet food pantry, but we do occasionally receive donations of cat food, dog food, & other pet supplies. Whenever we have extra, we distribute these items to:

• Approved fosters caring for Golden Gardens animals
• Caretakers of cat colonies that are fully spayed, neutered, & vaccinated
• Community members providing legitimate rescue efforts or caring for multiple animals they are trying to get adopted

If you are caring for a cat colony and working to get all the cats spayed, neutered, & vaccinated, or if you foster multiple animals and need help covering their costs — Golden Gardens can assist by organizing community-based fundraising on your behalf.

Through our nonprofit LLC, we can help you:

• Plan & host fundraisers
• Manage community donations
• Create online fundraising campaigns
• Promote your efforts through our platforms
• Raise funds for TNR, medical care, & supplies
